ARC Asia-Pacific Summit 2025
I led the strategy, sponsorship development and delivery of the ARC Asia-Pacific Summit in Melbourne, with Victorian Government support. The event brought together hospital leaders, clinicians, innovators and partners from across the region and beyond.
The programme combined discussions about healthcare innovation with more than 60 strategic meetings. It gave participants time to explore where their organisations could work together.
ARC is Sheba Medical Centre’s healthcare innovation model and international network.

Philanthropic strategy and leadership
I develop fundraising strategies that support an organisation’s long-term ambitions, then lead the people, campaigns and relationships needed to deliver them. At United Israel Appeal, I led an annual major-donor campaign of approximately $15 million. My experience also includes establishing fundraising functions.
Working with boards and executive teams, I help decide which priorities to bring to donors, how to make the case for support and where to focus our efforts. I build relationships with families and foundations around their interests, develop major and multi-year funding opportunities, and keep teams accountable for both fundraising results and the commitments made to supporters.

Building AFSMC’s Australian operation
I co-founded the Australian operation of Friends of Sheba Medical Centre, recruited a board spanning three states and built its fundraising, partnerships and operating functions.
As CEO, I lead strategy, staff, budgets and board reporting. Alongside fundraising for Sheba, the organisation develops relationships with Australian hospitals, universities and government to support clinical, research and innovation collaboration.

Connecting Sheba with Australian health institutions
I have negotiated and advanced partnerships involving Sheba, NSW Health, VIC Government, Monash Health, Royal Melbourne Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Monash University, St Vincent’s Health Australia and Silverchain.
My work involves understanding each institution’s priorities, bringing executive and clinical teams together, and shaping proposals for clinical exchange, research and innovation training. I stay involved in the discussions that determine what can proceed and how it will be supported.

Technology
I’m interested in what technology can change in practice. In healthcare, that means understanding the problem, listening to the people delivering care and asking what adoption would require.
People
A plan needs people who understand it and can carry it through. I spend time with the teams doing the work, as well as the leaders responsible for the decision.
Trust
I’m clear about what I can deliver, honest about what is uncertain and consistent in following up. That matters just as much with a donor as it does with a hospital CEO.
